    Debating an overnight car hang

    Done!

Setup, dinner followed immediately by rain. Nap time, re-stoke the fire and watch it burn. Nite-nite with some more rain, but dry as a bone. (First time using the Hennessy Hex.)

A.M. starts with a fire, perc some coffee, breakfast, watch the fire. All under a blue sky!

    No thunder or lightning.

nice, I did a small loop tuesday into wednesday last week and it was great. I went with a tent camper and his floor was wet the next morning :/... glad the HEX worked for you. its so nice to sit under the tarp and cook and just hangout being dry with all that rain around you.

i just LOVE stories w/ HAPPY ENDINGS

they're even better when the middle includes stuff like:

    DREAMING THE FIRE

THE PITTER-PAT OF RAIN DROPS ON A RAIN FLY OR EVEN A TIN ROOF

WAKING TO THE AROMA OF COFFEE MIXT W/ THE AROMA OF A FRESHLY RINSED MOTHER EARTH

    & MORE FIRE...

    NICE STORY

    NICE PICS

    HAPPY ENDING

Glad you enjoyed your time out. No better reason to test out the gear than a safe environment.
