I'm about to order a new WBBB and the only thing I can't decide on is the type of suspension system. If you were in my shoes, would you get the adjustable webbing or the line strap? Which do you think is better and why?

Adjustable webbing, hands down. Makes it much easier to adjust, with only a small weight penalty.

The webbing is really very good (especially with Dutch clips!) I'm flirting with a whoopie hook suspension, to try to save weight but keeping the webbing intact so there's always the option to switch back.
Boom - that's exactly what I needed to know, thanks everybody!
I was honestly leaning towards the adjustable webbing anyway, but just needed someone out there to confirm that I was on the right track.
Love this forum!

I agree. Webbing.
I love my AWS -- easy as pie to set up, take down, and adjust

I have at least one of just about every suspension option that is, or has been used on a camping hammock over the last few years. Unless I'm really working to shave grams for a particular trip, webbing is the only choice that is ever made. Too easy!
Whoopies and the like have their place and I think everyone should have a gram-weenie suspension setup ready to go, but for my routine hikes webbing is allllllll gooooooooood.
Trust nobody!
Webbing with buckles all the way!
I just received my XLC BB with webbing suspension. The webbing suspension very simple to use. I opened the box, went in the back yard and within 5 minutes I was hanging. This was this first time I ever used any hammock. With practice I could easily be set up with-in 2 minutes.
I made whoopee slings but have not installed them yet.
Good Luck
