I agree with the webbing choice, it's really easy to use right out of the stuff sack. I did order a set of beaners for $10 bucks (at the same time I ordered the hammock) to speed up the setup, and am really glad I did.

on my tw i used whoopies which i really like and my warbonnet is coming with whoopies as well so well chuffed, atb wayne
I know it goes against popular opinion, but on my ridgerunner, I took the strap suspension off and replaced it with whoopies. (the straps were pretty good, but whoopies save a little weight and bulk, and if I want to take the suspension apart its really easy with whoopies-to install the spindrift sock or what ever. I think the whoopies are a little easier to adjust.)
FYI: If you want to know what type a certain bear is, sneak up behind it and kick it. Then,
run like crazy and climb up a tree. If the bear climbs the tree and eats you, it's a black
bear. If the bear just pushes the tree over and eats you, it's a grizzly bear : )

Whoopies for sure
I swapped out my ridge runner suspention with whoopies I made. It's the simplest and lightest set up IMHO...2 cents

Adjustable straps are easy to use for a beginner. They're one less thing to have to concern yourself with. The hammock goes up so quickly, you'll find yourself putting it up midday to use as a chair for breaks. But the straps are fixed to the hammock so if you've had overnight rain the straps will be wet and packing may be an issue. Line straps are separate from the hammock and can be packed separately but you're dealing with knots. Whoopies with some hardware options like Dutch provides, get rid of the knots. There are advantages to each type.
I'm a adjustable webbing fan. Makes it a lot harder to pack up and leave you tree straps still on the tree. ( don't ask me how I know this)
Aue contraire about the webbing straps being fixed to the hammock. If it rains, just slide the staps out of the buckles and store them in an outside pocket on your pack. Only takes a couple of seconds to rethread them when you're ready to hang again.
I've got Dutch Ti clips on mine, quick and easy set up an only a couple ounces more than whoopies. HYOH
