DD Modular Jungle Hammock - Video Review

DD Sent me their 2013 Jungle Hammock for review, which I thought was odd considering how new I am to all this but hey, I'm not complaining!

    Here's the video:

I tried to go into as much detail as possible with it being so new and I wanted to get it out asap so it's not my best work but I'll do a shorter better video after I've lived with it for a while.

Let me know what you think (either here or on my channel).

Good info, but looking forward to updated info on how it sleeps, and any mods or tricks you use.

    Hi Maggot,

Sorry - I have actually spent more time in it and decided I like it best, so I've done all the same mods to the 2013 model as I did to my 2012 model.

I've also re-jigged how I use my tarp to accommodate for all the hammocks I'm accruing and I figured out a neat way to rig the rain fly that comes with the 2013 model.

I even made video's about all these things - I just forgot to post it here

You can see all the video's on my blog: A Bevvy of New Video's

I'll also try and add the one about the DD Jungle Hammock in a post below.

Short new DD 2013 Jungle Hammock video

I should add that the trick about clipping the rain fly to the carabiners only works if you marlin-spike the 'biners at the right points on the tree huggers and that will depend on where you're hanging. I can't get it to work every time but it's nice when it does!

    Thanks for the reviews.
If the hammock is half as good as their customer service, then I will be a happy hanger. I ordered one last night and got a call from FedEx today saying it would be delivered tomorrow.
    That's fast!

I received mine a 9am today and had it setup by 9:15am. I probably would of been alittle confused but thanks to the OP's video setup was fast and simple.
It is pretty comfortable and seems to have more room in it than my Clark Tx 250.
I will sleep in it for the next few days and tweek the setup alittle but I think it will be a keeper.
