ViDEO: Superior Hiking Trail PART 2...Leveaux Mt. to Cross River

I just hate it when work gets in the way of life, but I do like to eat and buy hammock stuff. :-). Really enjoyed these last two trips you posted. I will be looking forward to your fall trips.

    Hello Mr Shug!

Loved the whistling you did, in part one, while walking on those wooden boardwalks! I can’t think of the old war movie that reminded me of, River too Far, or something.

Plenty of water flowing... I’ve got my big speakers plugged in at the moment and I can feel the thundering water. I’ve developed a liking to walking and hanging in the rain – it’s a different kind of challenge, like snow hiking would be, I was thinking.

60 leaches! I don’t like leaches very much. I got one in my upper arm, about 2 months ago and it’s still causing me some problems. I want one of them there squirrels, they’re great – post one over to me. I hope your busy work session goes well! You were standing a little too close to the edge of that cliff. If you fell off, you’d break another camera. LOL-hurry up and eat your lunch!

Well, it’s a bit sad, no more hiking videos from you for a while! You know the old saying... The show must go on. Thanks for taking the time to make the videos, I always enjoy watching them!

Wooo buddy! Another excellent video. A great send-off for the season. Looks like you needed a canoe out there on the trail it was so soggy. Glad you had fun though

Have fun on the road, Shug. I look forward to your fall installments.

I just discovered Carnation Coffee Crisp flavoured hot chocolate and I thought of you, being a fellow Coffee Crisper. Shudda knowed you'd already tried it, though, lol.

    Love the scenery

That's a great section of the SHT, love it. Looks like you were there at a great time with the rivers running like that. Those trails can really get wet - done spring hikes where the hills were like mini-waterfalls.

Really liked those last two vids, I think because there was so much scenery footage. Like the low-to-the-ground shots.

    Best regards from Az.

Great relaxing hike, rain can be a very calming thing at times.

It forces you to relax and enjoy the surroundings

I had to whistle The Bridge over the River Kwai. Lots of rain here of late so the rivers were in full Glory. I would have been screaming if leaches...they were ticks. Not as creepy as leaches.
I do like a cliff edge))))

True true true. Been wanting to just film more of the woods....especially now that I know folks will watch it. Always thought that would bore folks. They are my favorite parts to watch when I edit. Serene. The low-shots are fun to do and it gives some good trail POV. Thanks Kurt. The woods here miss you.

It was fun to embrace a lot of rain. As you know...there is some discipline involved to keep gear dry and maintain.
