    Hello and thanks to all!

Hello from MN, just finished my DIY hammock today and wanted to give a big thanks to all who have contributed to this forum. The information age is a beautiful thing

I was able to turn out my OD green Walmart special in about 4 hours including some Amsteel whoopies and ridgeline from the local marine shop. With all the info on this site and videos on the web it was like I had a whole team working on the project.

Even reused a few mesh bags from my boys lacrosse gear for some nifty ridgeline storage bags.

    Y'all rock

PS now onto bug netting and a tarp... and one last thanks to my mother-in-law for the thread injector (I think she hoped her daughter might use it)

Welcome from Fla! I use my mother-in-law's sewing machine also!
