    Welcome from Irmo!

My mother was a McClellan (of McClellanville fame) right down the road from you, so I'm full up with family around that area! Hope you can make it to one of the group hangs.

Hi FireInMyBomes, I plan on checking it out this weekend. Like I said before my first goal is to make a rain fly/tarp for my hammock.

Junebugdawn, that sounds awesome! As long as nothing comes up between now and then I am free... I'm not sure about my boyfriend. That will be one of the last weeks we will be in South Carolina as he is in the Navy, but I'd be interested in coming out!

Roche, we did find our way out, but that climb up to that first shelter, I think Spencer, oh my. Apparently I set too quick a pace for the guys though adn they kept making me stop for breaks :-P

Welcome from James Island! The hammock lab is always open over here in Riverland Terrace...the trees are just a little on the big side, however...

The hang is next weekend (July 12th-14th) We'd love to have you and help you out. Check this thread. Maybe someone can hook you up with an extra tarp for the trip.

Hey Gadzooks welcome to the forums and hanging. I'm one of the hammock guys from the Grand Canyon. Sounds like your started down the path of our little addiction. TeWa, Dejoha and MuseJr. Are the other guys that were down there with me at Bright Angle.

FireInMyBones, I'd love to join y'all next weekend, but 5 hours is a bit out of my range of driving for two day weekend :-( I am planning tentatively on the September one. I need to look into some other dates of things.

Pgibson, its a small world running into hammock, or hangin, people on two of our bigger trips this year. I hope you found your car(s) quicker than we did when you came out of the canyon!
