Special Way of folding the hammock/tarp/yeti + carabiner question

I just got a Blackbird 1.7 single layer (olive green), an Edge tarp, 3-season yeti, 6 stakes, and 6 Stingerz from Dutchware.

Is there any special way you guys have to folding the hammock/tarp/3-season yeti before putting them in the stowaway bag or do you just toss them in there as best you can?

Also, is there any reason to get the Dutchgear Titanium Clips if I already have the Warbonnet carabiners? Do they do the same thing?

I already got 6 Stingerz for my Edge tarp, is there anything else I should get from Dutchware?

I store my hammock and tarp in skins. The biggest concern I have heard for years is to avoid folding these items because after repeatedly doing so creases can form which reduces the integrity of the fabric along the crease. This is often a failure zone waiting to happen. I think most people stuff the hammock or roll them up in skins. This avoids the constant refolding and helps preserve fabric integrity. That's just my own understanding. Others may have a different approach.

Aren't snakeskins only made for Hennessy Hammocks? Do you have a link?

Is there a snakeskin for all 3 of them - the hammock, tarp, and yeti?

I was watching this video and wasn't noticing that Brandon wasn't taking the cover off of the hammock before setting it up.

Seems like he leaves it on for easy putting back together.

Snakeskins culd be used to Any hammock ore Tarp ore...... It's onde the size thats matters. And thats only there that matters.......

So you leave the hammock cover on the whole time even when the Blackbird is setup and hanging? Then just push everything back into it's respective side when you are done using it?

I think Hennessy owns the copyright on the name "snakeskins". Several people make the same thing under other names.

Cover on or off is set by conditions and personal preference. One would wonder if you were laying in the hammock with the tarp cover on in the rain... ;-))

HAMMOCK: Stuff dont fold is my preference. Either use a double-ended stuff sack (bishop bag) or, using something like one of these, you can leave all your quilts etc on the hammock and stuff it all together = fast deployment. Tarp packs separately cause it may be wet/dirty etc.

HAMMOCK SUSPENSION (tree straps etc.): pack separately into a small ziploc or stuff sack in case of moisture or tree sap, etc.

TARP (and tarp suspension): Snake skins for sure - but mesh bags and mesh bishop bags also work. Several vendors make these. I prefer the mesh ones so at least some of the water could drain out if needbe. When hiking this all stows on outside of backpack if it is wet.

DUTCH GEAR: Dutch clips do the same thing as the carabiners but are lighter, some say quicker. Either works.
