I think my wife got bit by the hammock bug

So my wife took a nap yesterday, thrilling tale already I know, but she tells me again later. She says all cute like:
    "I took a nap today."
I give her a confused look and say "I know, you mentioned that already."
To which she responds "In your hammock!"
Now I am just shocked and reeling with excitement and questions. How did you like it? Sleep well? Blah blah blah hammocks are awesome right blah blah blah?

So she really liked it, after a few moments of apprehension she passed right out. I tell her to imagine how much better it would feel in a wider and longer hammock as my secret introduction of my wedding gift to her of an 11' by 60" hammock being sewn together so graciously by a fellow member. We are going to have a hammock camping night in the Smokies on our way home from our honeymoon. Can't wait!

I can't wait to get them! My wife really liked the green fabric sample we got from WL so I got that for hers.

That's awesome! My wife still rolls her eyes when I go all hammock-geeky on a new PLUQ project or some other DIY. I'll have to set it up and leave it out to see if she'll nap one afternoon!

The only problem I found with the wife liking to hang in her hammock is that she says I am not allowed to go to group hangs by myself as I have to much fun. She backs down and tells me to go on if she can't get off work to go with me.

Since your wife now likes hanging you have the perfect excuse to buy new gear as I tell my wife, oh that new UQ that just arrived today... its to keep you warm on that group hang we are going to next week. Good thing she's not into pink camo.

Of course she got very mad at me when I mentioned that I took her hammock to a group hang she could not go to and let a first time hanger try it.
I am still 18 but with 52 years of experience !

You gotta be careful, you may end up losing your favorite gear. Last car camping trip I hung a diy traveler type up to relax in. She says, "That would be better if you could get away from the bugs". So I took that down and put up a netted version and that was it. She was in it in seconds reading her book in peace free of any bugs. Those were the only two trees to hang from so I was out of luck...Bush
