Thanks for all you have done and continue to do HC and Randy that's an awesome new site. I'd love to volunteer but with newborn twin boys who just arrived I don't see myself having to much free time in the near future let alone being able to make it this year. I do have one suggestion however I'll leave that for the official thread.
Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.
Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.
Thanks for the compliments. Much appreciated. Like a lot of things, MAHHAs are the sum of its people. For such a fun event, the Fall MAHHA really isn't that hard to organize because Hammock Forum members readily step forward whenever there is a need and volunteer their many talents.
* ABHarris volunteered the new event site and presented it to the Blue Ridge Center Board of Directors.
* JD did the site visits.
* Two-Tents has already started taking on tasks.
* PappaSmurf has started a great informational website for both MAHHAs! It will make organizing even easier because so much information carries over from year to year.
* Silverpalm2x has offered to help with organizing and he hasn't even been to a MAHHA, lol.
* Dutch is continuing with the Saturday breakfast tradition! Go Pancakes!
* The Jacks of JRB said they are in for conducting the raffle again which is so crucial in paying for the event venues and expenses for these bigger events.
* Other Hammock Forum vendors and members continue to donate to the raffle helping to make it so much fun and successful!
* 2Q and ZQ have taken MAHHAs to the next level. That pig roast this year at the Spring MAHHA was AMAZiNG.
* Plus a few others have offered help behind the scene at the Fall MAHHA this year.
Look at this list and I haven't listed everyone and I haven't even listed all the people from the volunteer sheets. Hammock Forum members are so incredible! Thank you all !!! And thanks Hammock Forums for giving us such a great website to meet each other online and promote our hang events.
By asking for help this year, I just want to make sure the Fall MAHHA continues and is easier for the people who are nice enough to take over the organizing tasks.
If you've never made it to a MAHHA, you should come. It's hard to meet a better group of people!
MAHHA to Everyone!!

Hey everyone! Dutch has officially stepped up to be co-organizer! This could be dangerous. Now that he's official whatever he says goes. Y'all gotta listen. Dutch, much appreciated.
Two-Tents and Silverpalm2x will be helping out as well. Thanks you guys!
