There is a strange flattened area in the middle. The rest is a three point scramble. Used to be our season opener (before children). A ranger said the camp area is rarely used...so we camped just to say we did.
Hiking out to Dose Meadow passing Constance, Gray Wolf and Lost Passes. Access to Hayden Pass and beyond, or over Lost to Cameron Pass. Camp there and hang with the marmots.
I got my weekends crossed, I need to go up there next weekend not this one.

I can't leave until 5:PM. By the time we get there it should be dark. I don't mind hiking by headlight, I kind of like it. But I do need to know where I am going. :-)
God I'd love to get out... but working 50s since April. It means I've been able to get out on car camping trips and even some trips with some mild hikes in, but truthfuly we can't leave early enough on Friday for anything far away. This eliminates the Olympics for me.
My range currently is pretty much HWY2, i-90, and maybe HWY 20, though I don't know if I can get to the ranger station in time on HWY 20 to get proper permits and such.
God I wish I could have my summer back...
I'm willing for change if it means more people can get out this weekend.
Think I might be stuck working on a friends bike in Puyallup on Saturday.. But we should have another hang up on the coast maybe about same time we did last year..
Sept?

I'm flexible to location. Just need to know where. Don't mind going out 2 or 20 but I'm not familiar with those options.
If we go to the Hoh, we can hang close first night and venture in further as we like. I will be carrying way too much crap anyway.
I will check this thread again when I get home tonight.
I just did a day hike to the Oyster Dome back in June. The trail is north east of Anacortes, WA. It had unlimited potential for hanging. Attached is a photo of me in hammock in the "trail recliner" mode.
