I would be up for something on the weekend of the 17th. I just got back from a 6 day trip with the kids in the North Cascades. It was great but **** HOT. Ended up spending some days at Stehekin and enjoying the lake.

I would prefer the Cascades as apposed to the Olympics just because of the commute. But the East side of the Olympics could work too. I have not been to that area, other then the Dungeness trail.

I am making my own hammock as I can't seem to fing one that I can fit at a price I can afford so I maybe on the ground if that is not finished.

Let me know if you are interested in the exploration of the Dosewallips area. I used to wander that area pretty regularly.

My family will be back home by the , doubtful that I'm doing anything away from home that weekend, but I hope you have a great trip.

Hey Mumbles, do I recognize your avatar from fly fishing or kayak fishing forums? Keeping my eye on this thread sounds fun.

Cool. Another alpine hammocker. I'd be up for hammocking trips that include class 3-4 summits and glacier travel.

I've been looking for a mid-week partner for the Hoh>Oil City hike along the coast. I have weekdays off often, so I'm always looking for people with non-Banker work schedules.

Great! Up for a 17 mile walk along a beach? Since you're a fisherman, I'd like to find others willing to stop for a toss or two into the Pacific for some red-tail surf perch (pinkfins to some)--they're a wonderfully dumb fish, even by fish standards.

Might be game but I would need to get a good surf rod. I mostly fish the rivers.

Good hammock spots off beach? lol
