WA Olympics or Cascades late July/early Aug?

New guy. Just got my first hammock. Would like to try it out, the company of experience would be good. Western WA is my general area of interest. Plenty of backpacking ground sleeping experience. Post up interest or send a message. we can refine dates as needed.

Thanks for the message. Might work out. Nice to see if other locals have some free time to hang.

I was just up in the North Fork of the Quinault River area and there are plenty of awesome places to hang! Enjoy!

Anyone have specific ideas or areas to hit? Dosewalips gets much less pressure since the road washed out many years ago. Anywhere along the Hoh is always nice. I may try to find a multiple day float and hang overnight in between. Anything that incorporates a nice hike, row or fly rod is a huge plus.

    The HOH would be cool.

Somewhere around five mile island or deeper? The hike is just rolling for about the first ten miles, then it goes up a bit more seriously.

Pretty sure my family heads east on the 28th, leaving me solo for a couple of weeks. I need to make some plans or I will get into trouble.

Thought of going to Kelly Creek in Idaho, Hobuck Beach kayak fishing and hammock camping or a backpack wherever...

I'm up for anything. If its the HOH I'll most likely continue on to the glacier. What days work best for everyone?
