Video: Rainy hike in Alabama...along the Pinhoti

Some friends and I decided to reschedule our trip to hike the Art Loeb, due to the torrential rain. However, we thought it would be a good idea to do a day hike on the Pinhoti instead. I am glad we postponed the Art Loeb trip, my legs are not ready yet for that hike. Today showed this to me. I enjoyed the hike today...but it was seriously wet...

Looks like a great way to spend a rainy Saturday. Those trails look a little moist.
Everyone ought to believe in something....I believe I'll go set up the hammock!

I know what you mean. I've yet to see a completely dry trail this year. Creeks and streams normally easily crossed without getting wet are running at "turn back or get wet" depths.

A perfect example of the recent and current weather in this neck of the woods. But hey, it was a bug free hike.

Some days are just like that!

    Thanks for the video.
I like to go solo - off trail - immerse myself in the area - explore - eat really well - and make it back home.

Nice video Aboyd. Once you're wet, your wet, eh? Had more than one day like that in the Army...great bonding experience for friends.
