Tyvek is heavier than other materials like 1.1 nylon, Argon, M50.... It is supposed to be somewhat breathable, but it isn't as breathable as the other fabrics.

+1. Unless you're going super light weight materials then fabric is pretty cheap. Get some calendared 1.1 from DIY gear supply and be done. You already have the down.
I agree with everyone else---ditch the tyvek idea and use some fabric from diy gear supply. If youre going to take all the time to make an UQ, you might as well make it out of a quality fabric! (wouldnt cost all that much!)
FYI: If you want to know what type a certain bear is, sneak up behind it and kick it. Then,
run like crazy and climb up a tree. If the bear climbs the tree and eats you, it's a black
bear. If the bear just pushes the tree over and eats you, it's a grizzly bear : )
Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me, either, just leave me alone.

I am testing out some cloth grade Tyvek (also used in kite making) tonight as a bottom liner. It's not noisy at all and should be more breathable.
Here is were I got it, y'all can read the specs. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I have it sealed up on the bottom of my UQ just as if were part of the UQ. So if there is a moisture problem I should know by morning.

No problem with moisture on my Tyvek UQ outer liner. Low was 52, Humidity 81% grass was wet, my UQ was dry.
