Hanging at Scout Camp...again

I hung at Woodruff Scout Reservation the first weekend of February (Button Gwinett District Klondike). 20 degress Friday night and 2" of snow on Saturday. w00t!! It was awesome, and I got to benchmark my gear.

We did summer camp at Skymont this year, and I hung in my WBBB all week. Had a couple scouts in hammocks as well.

Thanks! I was hoping that they wouldn't mind. I am going with my son and the weather (warm & damp) looks perfect for a hammock rather than the tents.

Camp out with the Cubs this weekend i plan to sleep in my DB and the little one in his HH cub.

Just got delivery of some Hennesy Hammocks for some our Scouts for next weeks camp.

Just in time.


The only issue I see with the hammock wheel, albeit very cool, is sinking the center post. We need something like that we can use without digging a hole and sinking a post. Maybe we can get the camp to sink some posts later.

Hung in my DIY Blackbird at Webelos Camp this week. Soooo much better than fighting the hordes of spiders in the canvas tents.

Awaiting materials from BWDD so I'll have a bug net ready for the the week after next at Camp Liberty in PA...
