We took a family trip to Etowah River Campground in northern GA. The campground was great. It is the second time we have stayed there and we have friends who stay there often. We stayed in site 10. Sites 10, 11, and 12 (and maybe a few others up to 17) are the best for hanging.
It was WET. Rain was every day, several times a day. All the hammocks and sleeping stuff stayed dry.
We all use ENO double nests, with ENO bug nets, Arrow Head Equipment under quilts, Marrmot sleeping bags, and atlas straps, 3 of them have ENO Pro Flys, and I use a warbonnet superfly.
The people we stayed with used Hennesy hammocks.
Since it rained SOOO much there was mud, lot of mud. The kids liked it.
We did two river trips. One started at the campground and took out at Castleberry. The other was down the Chestetee (not sure of the spelling).
Since we all went to Burning Man together we did a little burn.
I am not sure what is going on in this picture, but we all had fun.
