It can be windy especially when you get close to Lake Michigan, but its not too bad.
It doesn't matter what you ride as long as it only has 2 wheels. I ride with the most diverse group of motorcyclists you will ever see. There will be guys on this ride on everything from a Honda Valkyrie to exotic Italian sport bikes to barely street legal dirt bikes. There is even a Ninja 250 turned into a pseudo-supermoto, and the riders range in age from about 25 to 65. I call us the Motley Crew.
There are only 2 rules:
#1. Ride your own ride
#2. Have good stories to bring to the fire at the end of the night.
O man, just noticed you are in Roanoke. That has to be motorcycle heaven.
We got back a few weeks ago from a trip down the Blue Ridge Parkway to the Tail of the Dragon. Good times and great riding down there.
