Cuben is a materiale to make a Tarp from.
Cuben allsow has the name cuben fiber....
@Jibbers: very strong, ultra light, water proof non-woven material originally used for high end sails for racing yatchs.

Great material for a whole host of uses...particularly for making light weight backpacking/camping gear. Many of the cottage vendors that cater to the hammocking community use this material for making tarps, backpacks, stuff sacks, etc.
