    First camping trip

Well my first camping trip didn't go so well last
    night,
Forgot the pad in my truck and at around 4:30 I the morning
The CBS was bad to say the lest I woke up shivering
And couldn't stop it was raining and my pad was wet cause it was in the bed of my truck all night wet so that is where I slept the rest of the night in my truck
Well the sun came out every thing is dry and now my sleeping pad is where it should be in my HAMMOCK lol so the rest of the week should be much better

It will be a long time before you stop triple checking your pad... Glad you survived. ;-)

You may want to do a "Hudson River Start" the first few times you go camping and keep track of anything left behind in a camp log. A Hudson River Start, by the way, is where you only go a short distance from your vehicle the first day. If you forget anything in said vehicle, you can easily return to get it. This can also be done in your yard at home to make sure you don't leave anything behind, or for that matter take too much.
