Just ordered a tarp/ just read this thread

To all who may know..
I just placed an order to Brian for a DELUXE tarp.
Was that a bad idea??
I'm I going to get the tarp?
What the hell??

any ideas?

not sure what you mean... I suspect you placed an order awhile ago and haven't heard back from Brian? is that it? last I knew, he was still in school and maybe he's taking some well-deserved time off... he's a one man show, so sometimes he gets behind, but I've ordered from him, and his gear is top notch. you will not regret it.

You should try to contact Brian directly and see if you get a response. If you don't within about 48 hours, I'd personally advise canceling.

Brian has been out of school for a couple of years, and has a full-time career. OES is at best a secondary consideration for him, and some orders have gone a couple of months without being addressed. It's sad, but it's simply fact.

mine took a few weeks i think..spoke with him thru email a few times as well. had him seem seal mine so took a bit longer. you'll love it

I bought a MacCat Deluxe from him a few years back. Got it fairly quickly and I'm very pleased with the quality! I hope he gets his customer service issues straightened out because he makes a great product.

I ordered my first MacCat Deluxe on June 29. It arrived yesterday!

Edit/update: Having now set it up, I am very glad I ordered this tarp. It took two weeks but I did get it seam-sealed. I did not get my first choice of color but I had indicated that I was flexible, and I am quite happy with the green tarp I received. (Thanks, Brian!)
