Wrote a local proprietor today to see if we might use her ranch here in West Texas among the mesquites and coyotes. Was just not able to travel because of duties at home and work. Some day, eh?

Colorado Bend is a nice place, and there are two private camp grounds just to the north of the State park on the river as well. They charge comparable to the state park per person.
