I see that there is a sale on the GG Airbeam. The XL seems to be a good option for hammock and ground use as well.

Gonna try it with a PLUQ, should be good for 3 seasons...thanks for the info!!
I have the green static V also and love it. That with a bivy and a 0 degree bag good in the low 20's

Well that is reassuring. I purchased this pad but have yet to test it out too much. at least it has good reviews! I was using a foam pad, but it was way too bulky. Everyting i use fits into my 1800cubic inch bag, except that darn foam pad. but this thing rolls up nice and small.

I bought that Pad and my girlfriend used it in -3F along with a 3/4 0* HG UQ. I wanted to make sure she enjoyed her 1st night in a hammock. She love it and was as snug as a bug. I used it last weekend Mar 14-16 in the Adiorondacks Mountains it worked fine on the shelter floor. It was in the minus temps as well.............I was good to go!!! Very happy with it.
I would say they are comparable in stats, but not in price. That was the selling point for me.
