    Yeah, I know your pain.

I decided to sleep out back with the donkeys last night. Wasn't ideal though. I had to go back in the house and grab a summer quilt because the temp never really got below about 61°.
    Trust nobody!

Who cares about showers, gourmet food, using flush toilets. Just keep on walking and being away from it all.

There are times that the only way you can do something is to do it alone.

NO QUILTS FOR ME, summer or otherwise, not here this summer anyway!
I walked outside last night, made it about 5 steps; turnedaroundwentbackinsideandtookacoldshower!
When you have a backpack on, no matter where you are, you’re home.

    cool

They do have a portable a/c unit for the motocycle crowd. Has a liner/vest that chilled water runs thru. Nascar guys are wearing a similar suit during races. hmmm.

Ive swam at night and then crawled in the hammock. Wet hammock is a nice chiller. Maybe spray the hammock down?

You're all invited to San Diego to hang with me...

I won't rub it in by sharing temps, but just reading this thread makes my wallet hurt less when I think about my mortgage payment...

I'm in Lexington, KY, and tonight at about 4:30pm it was in the mid 70s.
By 6:30pm it was back up in the 90s.
My family still lives in NKY and I feel their pain, too, as I visited my mom yesterday.

My younger brother lives in Syracuse, NY, and he told me that last year they had 5 days where the temps passed 90 - this year they've already surpassed that and it's only mid-July?

I long for that crisp October football tailgating weather (also great for hanging, of course!).

I figured I escaped this kind of weather when I moved from Houston to the Buffalo, NY area. Not so.

When you walk down the sidewalk, it's breathe-breathe-spit so you don't drown in the humidity.
