    Hello from the Twin Cities

Hello everyone! I recently picked up my first hammock for use on my bikepacking adventures.

I'm still trying to figure out what sleeping bag/ top quilt/ under quilt/ sleeping pad combo works best for me. So far I love the comfort and packability that a hammock setup offers.

Welcome from a fellow twincitian. There are periodic hangs locally that you could attend to look at all the options out there.

Hey MT haven't really seen you on the forums much since that last spring hang. Hopefully I'll bump into you again at another hang sometime.

Thanks for the welcome everyone. @hikingdad, no worries on being a cheese head, I grew up in Madison!

    Welcome!

Weekend of Sept 28th there will be a hang (and Wilderness First Aid course) southern MN. Watch the midwest trip planning sub-forum and there are bound to be more this season (and all year depending on how adventurous you are )
