    Hello from Melbourne

Just thought I'd say hi and introduce myself.
I'm a Uni student from melbourne, Australia. I love hiking and camping and I'm looking to up my comfort level and shed some weight before this summer (December) by purchasing my first hammock.
Looking at the Hennessy ultra/hyperlight setups. Now to figure out which quilts I need..

Looking forward to chatting to you all soon, Vas.

    G'day Kyubi,

Welcome and nice to see you took the advice . You will get a lot of great info from here.

If you are looking at quilts take a look at Enlightened Equipment. I just had a Rev X delivered and it is exceptional quality if you ask me, and his service was great. You know when you take something out of the box and you just say wow . Tim will get some repeat business from me if I buy again.

There are others out there though which offer good service and products.

If you want to upgrade tarps from the Hennessy I would look at Evan at Terra Rosa Gear . He is based in Melbourne and offers excellent service and products. I just upgraded from the standard Hennessy tarp which I found inadequate for coverage today with high wind and heavy rain . Luckily I was in the backyard

    Good luck!

    Simonm from the Bushwalk forum.

G'day and welcome from Auckland, New Zealand I know the HHs are easy to get in this part of the world, but don't discount the cottage vendors in the US, the international mail is surprisingly quick and the products are top-notch.
