    First DIY Hammock and Tarp

This set up is for my daughter, bet you can't guess what her favorite color is...
Still need bug net, UQ and TQ but this will at least get her hangin. What a great learning experience this was, I can't believe how hooked I am on hammocks now. Love it!
I'd also like to say thank you to everyone in this forum for all the great info!

    Stay tuned...more to come.

Nice work! I'm sure she'll love it and be the envy of her friends.
I got in a fight one time with a really big guy, and he said, "I'm going to mop the floor with your face." I said, "You'll be sorry." He said, "Oh, yeah? Why?" I said, "Well, you won't be able to get into the corners very well."

Excellent looking tarp, now someone needs to start marketing them in colors other then camo brown and olive. I would buy one up.

Wow. I'm speechless. So wonderful -- the love for your daughter and a great job of DIY.

But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed. (Luke 5:16 NIV)

He said to them, “But now let the one who has a moneybag take it, and likewise a knapsack. And let the one who has no sword sell his cloak and buy one." (Luke 22:36 ESV)

While people are saying, “There is peace and security,” then sudden destruction will come upon them as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. (1 Thessalonians 5:3 ESV)

I'll guess her favorite color is blue??

Fine job. And you wont lose that tarp in the woods.

Is the hammock and tarp made from the same material?

Yeah, it is a little bright but that's what she wanted.
The hammock is regular ripstop nylon and the tarp is silnylon.
