I would put myself on the border of extreme when it comes to cold weather. I've been at recorded temps of -14F and winds from 10-20ish mph. I think I can call myself an extreme cold weather hanger, but I don't hike in it like those two do. But, I am going to be building myself a pulk this summer so next year I intend on joining the ranks.

Better go get another hammock neo, somebody sold me their DD this morning.

Well, there's extreme cold and also extreme locations. I love to see pictures of people hanging in places you couldn't even think about going to ground on. Just off cliff faces, across streams, etc. Maybe people could submit photos, and this group could vote on the most extreme hanger? More pictures of that would be great.

Thanks for calling me extreme .... but I have no choice up here if I want to go backpacking. For me extreme would be hanging in 110º heat with no wind and abundant sunshine!!!!!! Gaaahhhh, give me shade, wind and cold!
