Hey Guys, I noticed in your conversation, you were talking about ridge line modifications. I just purchased a skeeter beater pro w/ bugnet and found that the net kinda sags to say the least and was wondering how you modified it? can you illustrate with some pics maybe or describe how this is done? I would like to modify mine as well. Thanks

Just got a SBP and looking to do a ridge line mod. With your 104" is that inside the bug net or outside? How much do you weigh? I'm about 225 and don't want to pull on the bug netting too hard.

Any advice on determining the right length for a ridge line for me?

I'm 5' 11" 160lb with Adams bug net mod with the strap reinforcement if you make a line with loops on each end you can use it under the net and swap it around for net less setup.

I love my SBP i'm 6'3" @ 230 plenty of room i love the net, in Texas it's a must have. The only mod i made , i sewed two more loops on top between existing loops so i can attach to my ridgeline with a small piece of shock cord. Didn't like having to run two lines for my net. I paid $60 for mine wich is very reasonable. I am camping in it tonight.

Does anyone else have pics of this mod (Or any other SBP mods)? I'm thinking about adding a ridgeline this way by hand sewing squares of webbing from an old ratchet set at the ends, but I'm not a very skilled seamstress. I'd like to see a few more examples before jumping in myself.

I cut 2 pieces of 1 inch webbing and folded it with the ends touching each other. I then found the center point of bugnet just between the existing loops and put a small piece of net inside the short webbing. I super glued all together then stitched it by hand. I will post some pics. Also, use bungee cord to ridge line.
