Az Hang West Clear Creek

I bring Fishing gear, there are 18" rainbow trout in them pools. Clean we bring a couple liters in the water bladder and a Pur Hiker water filter, good water in the Creek. At these get togethers we have a chance to check out each others gear and exchange ideas on camping, backcountry, bushcraft and have Fun. Plan on demonstrating the Bow drill technique, shoestring and Knife can make fire.

As long as you keep it on your person I don't think I mind. No guns laying around with the kids present please.

It will definitely be on me and secured in a thumb lock holster.

All cool with firearms , second the being carefull around kids. Bets bringing his two boys and Sammy's bringing two boys and a girl.

Gnome – how old are Bets and Sammy's kids? My son is 10.

14 with a couple possibles. Kids are 10 and younger, have been backpacking with Sammy's boys a few times they're great. There are several ready made camp sites, we can decide on a place or places when we arrive. There are two right near the bottom of trail, up on the benches off the creek. Then there is another down the creek near the Petroglyph's, then a larger area at the bottom of the Tramway trail. Lots of options and trees.

Very nice. The last AZ hang I did a few years ago only had 6 people including me. I'm excited to see everybody and their setups.

Gnome, you said you would be fishing as well as I. Maybe we will be able to have a trout bake...
