    How Many Projects Not Finished?

Yikes! I realized today how many projects I've not finished.

There is a used Swedish hatchet here that needs the handle set and blade sharpened.

I've got leather for a great fire kit pouch based on one that another forum member made -- really an inspiration: https://www.hammockforums.net/forum/...&postcount=143

My UL DIY backpack could use some tweaks that I have in mind.

The most awesome summer DIY UL UQ is ready to be pinned and sewn. Finishing this project will pay for the excellent used sewing machine that I bought.

Have some 7/64" Amsteel to make into UCRs.

On top of all that -- a big bunch of fabric coming for hammocks for Christmas presents.

    .

I'm glad I'm not the only one, MDSH! I thought it was my woefully short attention span! Maybe it's just human nature to have a lot of "irons in the fire" at once.

Personally I feel it’s a good thing to have several projects going at once. That way if whatever you are working on at the moment starts giving you grief, instead of fighting thru it and possibly screwing up, set it to the side. Pick up one of the others. Lord knows I have plenty going on right now.

I also have at least 6 projects waiting for me to get around to them. Let's see there is the leather/canvas bag I am working on, mods to the Handy Hammock that I would like to do, axe to rework the head on, fire kit pouch to make, under cover for my quilt for this winter, this list could go on and on.

I figure I will have more time over the winter when I am not out hiking and riding so much.....or that is my story and I am sticking to it!

When I'm too busy to finish all the "projects" I have going, I just get some Elves to come over late at night while I'm sleeping and they finish things up.
I got in a fight one time with a really big guy, and he said, "I'm going to mop the floor with your face." I said, "You'll be sorry." He said, "Oh, yeah? Why?" I said, "Well, you won't be able to get into the corners very well."

    HAHAHAHAHA!!!

I came up with a new project idea today. How about building your own canoe out of Lowe's 2x4 studs? Sure it would be heavy, but it should be a piece of cake with all of the lumber pre-bent like that.
