I'm originally from Pa. area but moved to Ks. sometime back. I became interested in backpacking and hammocks several months ago when at our family reunion in the smoky mountains my brother shared about a section hike on the AT he just completed. He displayed a lot of his gear and stretched out his hammock (Hennessy). I am going to complete a section hike on the AT next summer and have been researching and collecting gear. I've completed several day hikes checking out the limited gear I have already acquired.
I found this site via YouTube while researching different hammocks. This is 'the' best site I've found discussing hammocks and thought I would sign up. I really like the Thunderbird but I want to check out as many as possible.
