    How to use Dutch Flyz

Just got some new Dutchware yesterday in preparation for making an additional tarp ridgeline. My current set up uses Dutch clips on prussicks. Works great and I love it, but I thought the Dutch Flyz one one end of the ridgeline would make it easier to quickly set up with a wide variety of tree spaces.
I have looked at the picture that came with the Dutch Flyz and tried to duplicate it. I searched the HF threads. I'm still doing it wrong. Any advice or videos?

Dutch clips on prussics? You mean Dutch hooks? Try this video for Flyz clarity.

I like refried beans. That's why I wanna try fried beans, because maybe they're just as good and we're just wasting time. You don't have to fry them again after all.

Watch the vid at the bottom. Pay special attention to the way the loop pulls around. One way covers the antenna and the other way doesn't.

However for a continuous ridgeline I like to put the flyz on a prussic and the d-rings on prussics. Then everything slides on a line with a hook on one end. Let me know if that doesn't make sense. It's easy to understand when I know what I'm talking about

    Hey Dutch,

I have a continuous, I happened to see AHE's version of the continuous the other day and am guessing that's the setup you're referring to above? Does the prussic just hook to the d-rink or loop on the tarp?

In my mind, one the dutch hook end would hook to prussic attached to the tarp. The other free end would hook to the flyz prussic'd to the tarp. How do you adjust the tarp though?

I currently have my tarp prussic'd to the continuous ridgeline for adjustment. But i find myself having to adjust the flyz almost every time I set up, if I can adjust that my set up time will quicken.

I use three Prussics. One on each d-ring and one on the flyz. Hook spliced on the end of 30 to 35' line.

How many wraps are you doing on your prussics Dutch? Are you using Zingit for the main lines and the prussics?
