It had been years since I'd been camping, but to celebrate my impending old age I decided to get back out there in a new way. Bought myself a Grand Trunk hammock and slings and a copy of The Ultimate Hang, and spent a couple night under the stars. One night on the ground in a tent to appease the spouse, then the next night in my brand spankin' new hammock and I'm hooked! Or hung? Or suspended? Or...
My first night in a hammock was actually during the Second Annual Texas Butt-Bake, we were just a few state parks away.
I've already picked up a few awesome hints from this place from lurking, but figured I ought to sign up and be a contributing member. That is, once I've got some knowledge to contribute.

lol! I'm a transplanted Hokie, but I get paid to be an Aggie fan so I am. Plus all the maroon I own transferred over pretty nicely.
