    Toxaway Ontheway!

Sorry, just excited. Plus I didn't see too much love for the shangrila or the toxaway here. there are a lot of great choices out there, but these 2 seemed to be the best of the best for me. and at only 14oz, with a 12 ft ridgeline and over 10.5 in width, it really seems to be the best coverage for the weight.

a few months back, i was really close to pulling the trigger on a tarptent by henry shires (i still might at some point, they are great tents), but after doing some thinking, i realized i had NEVER slept well while tent camping. i decided to make the jump to hammocks after i remembered i used to love sleeping in hammocks when i was younger.

i grabbed a wb traveler off the for sale forums here, and although it was great for lounging, i knew that if i wanted to hit the trails, i would need a bugnet and tarp.

so yeah, bugnet and tarp on the way =) that is all.

    Re: Toxaway Ontheway!

There is a LOT of people recommending the tadpole around here, not so much for the toxaway, both seem like great tarps, but the toxaway will give you more coverage and I've never seen a bad thing written about ahe. I'm sure you'll love it!

Yep. The Tox rocks 11' hammock like it was made for them. Hard to beat coverage for the price points too.

I have been eyeing the toxaway for my first hammock tarp as well. Just blew my money on a UQ with their anniversary sale. The toxaway is definitely next on my list!

I have the Toxaway Tarp and I love it. It replaced my stock diamond Hennessey Tarp.

I bet you will be pleased with the new tarp.
    Take care,
