Agh! I hate waiting!!

I JUST ordered my first hammock! I had to tell someone, and since absolutely none of my friends camp outside of anything but a tent, at an event, with their car, I had to post. Sorry for the spam, but YAHOO!!

After careful consideration of much good advice, thousands of lines of forum text, and residual shakes from bouncing back and forth between decisions, I went with the ENO DD with Atlas straps and the ProFly tarp!

Now grant you, I still can't really get much hang for some months yet, but I WILL be screwing with my neighbors by sleeping on the porch! (I'm on crutches for a few more weeks and physical therapy for a few more months post ankle surgery).

I should have it by next week, just in time for my birthday!!

Congrats BossLady! But do take extra care of your ankle! Getting into and out of a hammock can be tricky until you get the 'hang' of it! Be sure you know where the close and far edges are (don't ask, but I know this one!) before committing your weight, and test your suspension a bit at a time until you're confident it's all good. No surprises make for relaxation!

Congrats on the purchase. I can sympathize - I bought my first hammock a couple of weeks ago, but my first trip is next weekend. The anticipation is killing me! Should have my UQ either tomorrow or early next week. Then I'll stare at the clock for a few days. :-)

Hope the ankle heals well and quickly!
