Well how bout some more questions?

Do these insulate as easily as a bridge?

I guess one thing is: PeaPods and Polarpods probably work great with them, since same folks make both!

These are a brand that I never got around to trying, and I am feeling a dangerous level of curiosity.

    BB,

If you don't get to try one soon, maybe you can pop up to Meriwether Lewis on the Trace for a Saturday night. You can try my Lighthiker DL. Ewker and Hamhocker and I have been talking about a Saturday getaway just to get out of the house. Will tie you in to that if you are interested.

I chose the light hiker 1.9 for the weight and I chose the single because I use quilts. I have never gotten a chance to try the other models but I am really satisfied with that one. Mostly it is the lay that keeps me picking it. The most quality of a hammock is comfort. I have a diy hammock and my switchback competing the best in comfort.
    Peace Dutch

Am I missing something on their website? I can't see a LightHiker 1.9 single layer.

I take that back. It is a switch back. There are the lops on either side that makes it a switchback

No not at all. The double will just be a bit heavier.

I haven't used mine in a long time... I need to rediscover it. Thanks for reminding me.

I used mine (1.1 DL Switchback) a couple of weekends ago for a 3-nighter up at Grayson Highlands. Used a pad instead of the my UQ due to the temperature. Pad slid right in between the layers and stayed put. Very nice arrangement for the milder temps.

In theory, there's no difference between theory and reality.
    In reality, there is.
