    If you didn't scatter your entire pack contents all over camp every trip, you wouldn't have to spend so much time checking to make sure you have everything.

    But more seriously - I'm the anomaly in that I don't really like camo anything - so maybe I'm the wrong person to try and answer. But I do notice that most camo straps tend to be more of a woodland pattern ... and most camo material that gets used to make hammocks tends to be digital. Maybe people don't like mixing their camo?

    Me and Destikahr walked a bike trail recently and by time we completed the trail we almost had enough parts to build a bike...lol..Ok that is a bit of an exaggeration. But still..Found lots of stuff..Same thing on the AT..find lots of gear tossed to the side.

    The camo stuff I got from a vendor here was "slippery" and was useless with my ring setup.
    It also wasn't as thick as the Warbonnet, AHE or Readystrap black straps.

    Hven't tried the camo with the cinch buckles.

    I did order 75 yards of the digital camo from Amazon, disappointed, it stretches. I can feel it plain as day getting in the hammock.

    I did not order camo because;
    - I figured black was least expensive, but never checked to be sure
    - needed the straps to be thick enough for a "no worry" setup with cinch buckles used by the kids
    - black would go with all the different color hammocks I'm making

    A pull test is a good idea.

    I will say this, those 1500lb & 3000lb are rock solid in those cinch buckles, couldn't be happier.

    I detect lingering resentment for SilvrSurfr's late start on a hike with silentorpheus. Well, I'm dumping you as a hiking partner because I have two new hiking buddies to resent me for late starts - JollyGreen and my daughter Banelet.

    By the way, if you're missing any stuff from your last hike, I probably have it and won't be returning it.

    I'm hurt, SS. You cut me to the core.

    Nah, no resentment. Just amusement. Heh.

    With a cart, I can keep on adding things as I think of them which in turn means larger orders for you...just a thought.
    Gary;

    If I have any complaint about Readystrap it would the lack of a shopping cart on the website. Now, I know its because you're a recalcitrant and unreconstructed downeaster and resistant to change, but you might consider it.

    I'm gonna go look at your camo strap now.

    Glad I saw this post I've been getting camo straps because they are the cheapest I can find but I really don't like it so I will be putting in an order for black soon. Do you sell cinch buckles alone?
