    My DIY Setup! (pics)

I thought I would share some pictures of my setup. I made everything a few months ago, but haven't posted until now. I got all of the ideas from this forum and I wanted to say thank you! I've slept in it several times this summer and love it! I finished it just in time for an end of the school year camping trip with one of my classes. Everyone was very impressed. You guys deserve all the credit, though!

I've already ordered more material to make two more hammocks, a bug net, and I'm planning on making some more tarps. I went ahead and ordered some dutch gear as well to make things easier to hang. I'm thinking about selling the hammock to fund material for a new one. I enjoyed making it that much!

I've got to give a shout out to Scott at diygearsupply.com.. He was extremely helpful and I was more than pleased with my order. I sent him some pictures when I finished to say thank you, and he asked if he could put them on his website! I was surprised; what an honor!

Haha place an order I'll get right on it!

I can't even take credit for the bag, though! I adapted someone's design I found here.

    Really, really, really nice work!
I got in a fight one time with a really big guy, and he said, "I'm going to mop the floor with your face." I said, "You'll be sorry." He said, "Oh, yeah? Why?" I said, "Well, you won't be able to get into the corners very well."

    Sorry, forgot to ask earlier...

Is your UQ sewn thru or does it have baffles? Couldn't tell 100% from the photos.

It has short baffles made of noseeum. I think they're just over an inch or so. I filled it with 5oz of 850fp down! The outside layer is slightly wider than the inside to let it loft up. I used an underquilt calculator I found here.
