    Two different Hennessy suspensions

I made a vid detailing the two different ways HH attaches their suspension

So Dutch, now that my whoopee slings have arrived for my Hennessey, how does a total newbie go about changing out to those whoopies? Do you have a video for that too? Thanks. Ed

Edit: Found this in another thread. Unsure why my first search didn't work. Maybe long of a search phrase.

Hope this helps.

For a pictorial & written explanation try this. Again just connect the continuous loops like the whoopie and you'll be fine.

Good luck, it's pretty easy, even I could do it!

It isn't my vid but the top vid on this page is how you change the suspension for when you have the type with the series of holes burned in.

For the style with the webbing sewn on you just larks head the whoopie or the loop on the webbing.

My suspension has the two holes burned in. Really simple untie and replace with the whoopie sling. Now I just need to go hang it up and figure out the tightening and releasing. Shame I'll have to unfasten the little Dutch Bowties, I'll likely never be able to fold them up that neatly.

The thing that concerns me most is duplicating the wrap length rather than the number of wraps. I think the holes are placed to bracket the larger diameter rope. When switching to the smaller rope with the same number of wraps I see potential for more strain on one or the other hole depending where the wrap is placed.
    YMMV
