    Yes...its UQ time

OK, I have my hammock (GT SB Pro), my tarp, WB Superfly, has been ordered. Now it looks like its UQ time....Im looking for a 3/4 to full 20 degree quilt, and when it comes to these...I have no clue what brands are good, and whats not. Can anyone give their input please. lets go with the top 4 quilts, then I can check them out and come to a decision. Thanks again for the help.......Chris

Honestly dragon, from what I gather, they are all great and everyone is going to have their own opinion based on their experience - and what they own

Its like asking someone what is your favorite dog?

90% of the people will say the breed they currently/have owned.

    A couple worthy vendors:
    Hammock Gear
    Te-Wa
    Wilderness Logics
    Underground Quilts

    Yes...its UQ time

I think on the majority of the vendors, your going to get a quality product.

But I'll say I really like the quilts from Underground Quilts.

DISCLAIMER: NO DISRESPECT INTENDED TOWARDS ANY OF THE VENDORS HERE!!!

    With that said...

I think that once you get to a certain point...the differences in quality become pretty minute. I think that all of the top vendors you mentioned are outstanding...and I don't know that you'd find a complaint or comparable difference in quality between them. They're all professional in what they do and make...they're artists, and purchasing one of their products will not disappoint.

I don't know that you're going to get input to truly help you choose between them. It's the choice between masterworks by any artist.

    Re: Yes...its UQ time

    I would like to add...

If you manage to diy an uq it will bring you more sense of pride than any uq you can buy, regardless :-)

I have two. I made a DIY synthetic quilt. It's ugly but it works. I used the KAQ instructions on this board. I've taken it to 40 degrees and it's nice. I also have a 0* hammock gear quilt. It's great, too. there is pride in DIY, to be sure. But there's also something to be said for great purchased items.
