DL puts you into the pads arena, which is much cheaper for young families to get started in hammock camping. Hmmm ...

    New UL MARPAT Hammock

I was looking at DIY Gear Supply. Are you guys using the woodland or the USMC print? Is there a big difference if anyone has seen both of these materials?

Mine is the MARPAT camo and I think MDSH is using the same. Not sure if there is a big difference. From what I have read, Digital Woodland camouflage is the commercial knockoff version of the MARPAT. I could be wrong on this so someone correct me please.

MARPAT is the official United States Marine Corps USMC patented camouflage. Digital woodland camouflage is the commercial variant of it.

I really like that MARPAT - you guys have made some fantastic hammocks from the material! I really need to get some. Great job!
I got in a fight one time with a really big guy, and he said, "I'm going to mop the floor with your face." I said, "You'll be sorry." He said, "Oh, yeah? Why?" I said, "Well, you won't be able to get into the corners very well."

    Awesome, X!

Does the bug net zip all the way on one side and you can throw things open completely?

On that hammock it only zips half way..Was going for UL and a full zipper would add another ounce or two so just went with zipper on one side...The previous two hammocks had full zippers that allowed for the bugnet to be stowed away.

Almost done with my next project which has some pretty cool features.
