    Question Bishop bag and toggles

    Very new and so far liking the hang. I have switched to whoopies and Like the idea of the marlin spike hitch, Looking to buy a pair of toggles and also a bishop bag. any one Have them PM me Thanks!

    You can make you own toggles if you like. They just have to be strong enough to resist compression since the whoopie sits on the knot and not the toggle. There many things around your house or availble in a brick and mortar store that you could use. I've used old arrow shafts, PVC pipe, wooden dowl, tent stakes, bolts among other things. Of course to save weight backpacking you could just use a trail stick.

    Bishop Bag is a nice DIY project too.......as long as you have a suitable sized stuffsack around.

    Hole melted in the bottom, with a soldering iron, a plastic grommet. or reinforced injected opening(hole) for the so inclined.

    Easy place not to have to spend cash you'll need for other gear and projects
