    Gear weight

I'm curious as to what the finished weight of the average sleep system is. Hammock, tarp, suspension and underquilt or whatever type of insulation you might use.

DIY hammock with bug net (2 x 15' straps, biners ,and stuff sack): 28.1 oz
UL JRB Nest (not used for temps above 50*): 15.5oz
    UL JRB No Sniveller: 16oz
10X12 hex tarpTarp (including tensioners, guy line, and skins):20.4oz
    Total: 80oz or 5 lbs

This pretty much cover my hanging needs 95% of the time. In winter I would add a cut down Gossamer Gear Thinlight pad (~7oz) and my WM 15* bag (2 lbs) and my zip on top cover (-3.5oz for removing the bug netting + ~5oz for top cover = 1.5oz additional weight).

I am currently using a Granite Gear Latitude Vapor pack: 2lb 10oz
