Oh no! I better start thinking about what I'm going to bring…
Boat, paddle, PFD, hammock, guitar, fork, plate, cup. Ok, I'm ready!

So many trees, so little time...
Whopping big kiss to fgreen. I desperately need to learn how to sharpen my kitchen knives. Have a small stone, will try and get a larger one. Any idea when the "class" will be?
Let me know if anyone wants to have a look-see at the Snugpack. It's a lightweight jungle sleeping bag with a head net. "Ultra-lightweight High-Loft Insulation. antibacterial treatment on lining and outer cover.
Mine is olive green; here's info on a black one at Amazon

A "Parade of Homes" is a wonderful idea and we have had it in the past. More hangers should provide a larger variety of rigs. Can't wait to see what you got there.
Then, what day, to get the most folks "homes", Sat before the group pic(after is just packed), Sun after services, (many are breaking camp to go home later). What to do...
Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you
I have not set a time yet. I know that others may want to do some of the hikes and kayak trips some this being only my secound hike am playing it by ear. I will be around the main area at least on Friday trying to get to know people and will try to get a time set and post a note around there to let people know. If you you catch me around anytime just ask and I can bring out the stones. It will be a good time and hopfully all will learn a little something. See you there.
You do not need a big stone, but a nice arkansas wet stone is good general stone. they are inexpensive but work nice with just some water.
If you are looking for a more robust sharpening tool take a look at the http://www.worksharptools.com/guided...pener-221.html . I have found it for 25-30 at sporting good stores. I am planning on getting another one because a friend borrowed mine on our last hike together and kept it. He fell in love with it I did not have the heart to take it from him so told him to keep it and I will get another.
