It's not procrastinating, its proactively delaying the implementation of the energy-intensive phase of the project until the enthusiasm factor is at its maximum effectiveness.

There should only be 4 sounds heard from a kayak. 1- the hull slicing thru the water. 2- the blade of the paddle dipping into the water. 3- drops of water falling off the paddle and 4- the sounds of nature. Luckily I have only been able to hear 3 and 4 and very little of #3.
Most of us end up poorer here but richer for being here. Olddog, Fulltime hammocker, 365 nights a year.

I almost completely forgot about signing up for the hang. Been looking forward to it all year but it's been crazy the last few months and haven't been on the forum at all.

I'll be there with my oldest 2 kids again but their friends can't make it this year. This might be the last for the oldest because he's looking to move out of state for college this coming fall.
You'll find me hanging somewhere in the sunshine state.

We can now be sure that Buck Lake will be open

Given that the current budget has been put in place through March 2013, there is no need to worry that the National Parks will be closed come MLK weekend.

So much to do! Just three weeks!
