    I'm a light guy and wanted a light setup, so I went with single layer 1.1 in black with olive green overcover. 10 ft by 60in wide.
    1.1 is definitely thin, and stretches a little even under my 150lbs, but I find the stretch gives it a bit of spring , kind of like a softer bed.

    Even with the top back, the design gives a nice lip around the head and feet of the hammock. Maybe not quite a foot box but definitely gets rid of the feeling that the material is falling away at the edges that some hammocks have.

    surprised nobody mentioned Hennessy. He started the net/hammock combo and still has nice products.
