    Inside hang....without an UQ

I've been hanging for over a year and sleep most nights in a hammock. I love my Byer Miskito, flip it over and great comfy flat lay. I like my tablecloth but converted it to my van hammock, it works great just was never as nice as the Byer. I like the Byer's material much better that the tablecloth. Still most of the time I found the need for a an UQ and the Wilderness logics SSUQ seems to fit the bill for any winter temps and maybe a little much for summer.

I picked up a Byer Paradiso cotton Brazilian style hammock, I get a fine flat lay at multiple angles but usually sleep with a deep sag over 30* and that puts me just a few inches off the ground, so if it failed, no worries! My hope was that the heavy cotton material would eliminate the need for an UQ but find myself tucking my fleece blanket under my back most nights.

So any ideas other than jacking the temp up and making my favorite bed dwellers too hot?

    Thanks! Happy Hanging!

If its warmish inside, you could probably get away sleeping on a fleece blanket/poncho liner/some other type of not that compressible sheet...

I find myself sleeping on a blanket too. In the summer, a UQ is just a bit too warm. I need to hire a seamstress to make me a UQ from just a blanket or something, just to keep a little bit of heat in

In the my basement, when is never above 72 in the summer and even cooler in the winter, I use a PLUQ. I picked the PL up off fleabay for 20.00 and the cording for another 10.00. It is the no sew version. If I get too warm, I just vent it more.

I too made a PLUQ as a test for making one for outdoor use and I use it on my indoor hammock. The loft in it was real poor, so it worked great for indoor use.

I through a sleeping bag in the hammock and lay on top of it. The bag keeps away the dreaded Cold Butt Syndrome.

This a scrap of poncho liner I found at a fabric store. It is just a little patch and it is just enough for midsummer evenings. Cost me practically nothing

Wife slept @61 and 64 this past weekend with just the Hennessy super shelter undercover. So DIY you a UC out of something and I bet it would be perfect. Poncho looks like a great idea as well

So far for the cotton brazilian I usually tuck the top of the fleece TQ under my shoulders and back.

I'm thinking of a 2 layer table cloth with a fleece blanket between the layers.

Good idea but I hang the lot in a bag when not in use and am looking for minimal volume.

Thanks, I've almost bought those more than once.

Thanks, I'm looking for a 1 piece assy if possible.

Thanks the PLUQ is a very popular option but I'm looking for the least volume option.

I have used a WM 5 x 7 tarp as an under cover down to the mid 60*'s and with my byer MH and my HH UC with my HH UL EXP.

I think my next option is to DIY a DL table cloth 90 x 156. Thanks for the input.
