    Ground Dweller from Florida.

Hey guys! Recently ran into a bunch of you (mightymouse, duffy, zukiguy, floridahanger, flrider, samsara, etc..) during one of your outings. I currently have a a few tents, but have been looking around to getting a hammock. I look forward to everyone's input.

I know this is a hammock forum, but I figured I'de show you what I'm running with at the moment.

Asylum bivy, Alps Mountaneering one person, and a Northface flint II.

And yet another warm welcome from the East. It was a great weekend sponsored by FLRider at the "no underquilt hang" and it was good to meet you and your friend.

Don't tell samsara he wasn't there. He missed the great weather.

See you on the trail. And remember...

    Thanks everyone!

Sounds like fun, Hanger, but that's my birthday weekend I'll be at the Highland games. I look forward to it every year.

Well then, an early Happy Birthday to you. Wow, 6 mnths early.

The FH4 goes until Tuesday if you can make it out. There should be plenty of folks Monday night to see their rigs and you can drive upto the common area in front of the lake.
    Just in case you wanted....

Welcome aboard from Lakeland. There are plenty of other hangs close to you through out the season. Keep an eye out for the planning.

Welcome to the forum from central California.

There are plenty of sharp folks here who are always willing to share their expertise with you in whatever hammock and hammock camping suits you should you need it. They are the best group of folks I have ever had the pleasure of bumping into.

As a bonus, if you are not a DIY sort there are a bunch of cottage industry vendors who are fantastic in terms of quality of product, explaining how to use their gear, customer service and fair pricing.

Again welcome to the forum, now get off the ground (hint...that's where I pee)
Happy Trails to one and all.
Enjoy the outdoors wisely and elevate your perspective.
