Vampire, I'm in Saginaw. Gratiot (M46) is a nice shot to Hwy 131 w/ only a few lights (just a thought).
DblCorona, that would be awsome. I'll hook ya up w/ a kayak float or something....

I was just at deep lake today and let me tell ya, it was HOT! Looking forward to the hang.
I have to admit I excited about this. A chance to check out and learn about different hammocks meet new freinds. And maybe play with a kayak. Pretty neat having the lake and trails right there. Besides my chilli will bring a few smiles. This is going to be fun.
Hot showers before the ride home!
someone might want to confirm with the ranger, but in the past if you stayed at Deep Lake CG, they would let you use the showers over at Yankee Spring SP CG(3 miles away). I believe it falls under the park pass benefits. Just as if when I use the RV at Deep Lake, and I can drive over to YS and dump the tanks. Never had issues before with friends or family, but 50+ hammockers showing up on Sunday may get alarming.
I just added a possible guest, who knows perhaps a new convert in the making? lol I too am looking forward to all the different set ups as i've never seen some , such as the DD hammock, and some of papa smurf's hammocks too. good to hear about the shower possibility!
am starting to get excited, and should be up there friday afternoon, early i hope
